Welcome to Doyle Wham

Doyle Wham is a UK-based contemporary art gallery founded in 2020 by Imme Dattenberg-Doyle and Sofia Carreira Wham. Doyle Wham launched its first permanent location in Shoreditch, London, in 2022.

The gallery’s programme is primarily focused on photography by artists from Africa and the African diaspora. The gallery exhibits lens-based media in all of its forms, focusing on experimental and conceptual work. The intersection of photography and culture, including music and fashion, is also a particular focus.

The gallery’s represented artists include Angèle Etoundi Essamba, Yannis Davy Guibinga, Denisse Ariana Pérez, Morgan Otagburuagu, Umseme Uyakhuluma, Puleng Mongale, Justin Dingwall, Ayo Banton and Water Dixon. View available works by the artists on our Artsy page here.
